Kirkwood Electric has been recognized by the American Public Power Association as a Reliable Public Power Provider. Kirkwood Electric has received this recognition since May 2011. Being recognized by the RP3 program demonstrates our commitment to our employees, customers, and community. Additionally, the RP3 designation is a sign of a utility's dedication to operating an efficient, safe, and reliable distribution system. Currently only 254 of the nation's more than 2,000 public power utilities hold an RP3 designation. This recognizes our utility for providing its community with high quality, reliable, and safe electricity.
