Kirkwood's annual July 4th celebration, known as the "Freedom Festival," takes place on July 4th every year in Kirkwood Park. The event culminates with a fireworks display at dark (approx. 9:20pm.)

NOTE: Tarps are not allowed to be placed to reserve viewing locations. Tarps placed on the turf in the summer heat will kill the grass. All tarps placed before July 4th will be removed.
